Here we are in sunny Puerto Morelos, where it is 25 - 28 during the day and 20 at night - ah, the heat is good for the body and soul. But we already miss some of the faces on this page........and hope they come to see us this winter.

3 weeks today we fly to Cancun!

We leave Victoria on Oct. 25 to spend the weekend with son Jason and grand daughter Amber. On Oct. 27 we take the Amtrak from Vancouver to Seattle and then cab to the airport, where we will spend a less than exciting few hours waiting for our 6 am flight to Cancun on Oct. 28. Been busy making lists, getting travel insurance, car insurance for the Tracker in Mexico, organizing what to take for 6 months.....!.....and then making more lists. Daphne is working for govt for 2 months, finishing on the 24th, and Miki has been busy winterizing the cottage in Sooke and doing some renos on the Parksville place - will they EVER end.....? We have been house sitting in Victoria for various friends for the past few weeks but move back to the cottage next week to seriously get packed and ready to head south. Seems like so much to do, so many people to say goodbye to, but it will all come together and be an amazing adventure. Many friends and family will join us in Mexico to visit, so we look forward to that, too.
