Feb 3 - 5. Took a 2 day escape to Ek Balam, a tiny village and ruin just north of Valladolid, 2 hours west of Cancun. Arrived around 3 pm and this is Miki in front our our cabana. Genesis Retreat is owned and operated by Lee, a gal formerly from Calgary, and is an eco friendly, lovely place with 6 cabanas, a chemical free pool, lovely lodge where breakfast and dinner are prepared and served, outdoor and indoor showers, and magical garden area. Next shot is the view from our bedroom on the second floor, overlooking the pool and garden, the king size bed with couch, and the outdoor showers.
