Friday, Jan. 30 we attended a theatre performance at the Puerto Morelos Cultural Centre. 2 young men did an amazing show which started with very droll humour, moved into singing, dance, even a sword fight, and finally included an incredible puppet - very Yoda-like. Very well done.
This is our neighbour, the local dog walker - Club Dog in Puerto Morelos. His own 2 dogs run the spectrum - a great dane and a chihuahua!!! Very nice guy who this day was walking 3 gold labs, 1 boxer, and 1 pitbull . The boy was just saying hi to all the friendly dogs!!
Friends Karen and Mark are in Puerto Morelos for a week, staying at a condo on the beach. We brought them up to our casa this afternoon for a drink, some munchies and a relaxing visit on the patio. Great to see more Victoria friends enjoying our wonderful town.Tuesday we go to Ek Balam, a Mayan ruin we have not yet seen, and will be staying overnight 2 nights at Genesis Retreat, an amazing place near the ruin. May not have internet during the next couple of days, so will update the blog on Thursday, when we return.
