A Cancun evening

Our friend Yoli, who sculpted the magnificent nativity and town scene, was asked to bring it to the Flamino Plaza on the Hotel Zone in Cancun to display it. We went into the Zone early, had a margarita at Jimmy Buffet's Margaritaville (what else????), had dinner at an Outback restaurant in the mall, and then attended the display and ceremony for the nativity displays.

The poster advertises the nativity display and contest and while Yoli did not win for her nativity (it all had to be made out of natural ingredients, and hers is made out of plasticene) she was very happy to win an award for her town scene, and next year they will have an "open" category, in which her plasticene will no doubt win.
