Dec. 6, we spent time (finally, after coming to Puerto Morelos for 8 years!!) at this amazing botanical garden. We saw monkeys overhead (kind of hard to spot in my pics), climbed the observation tower and walked a suspension bridge. All the trees, plants, palms and flowers are labelled and signs and photos describe the former "Chiciero" camp - where workers used to bleed the sap from the chic trees to make Chicklets gum.
