Feb. 22. The annual Mardi Gras arrived in town tonight! There were pickup trucks full of lovely dancing teenage boys, a huge group of women and children made up to the hilt and dancing to the beat of wild loud music - even little angels!
The floats were incredible - loud lovely music, lots of balloons, and one in the shape of a boat that I didn't quite get to in time......! The Mardi Gras celebrations were loud, fun and full of fun!

Wow! You guys are so busy - our holiday on Maui was sorta like that too. Looks like a lot of fun - wish we were there! Wish you were here! BUt you wouldn't like the weather. Finally got both computers up and running and connected to the Internet with a wireless router cuz we're in different rooms. Whew! Mardi Gras in Canada is mostly Gras, actually.
Loved the thought of you going to Isla de Mujeres - do you go often? I'd love a t-shirt - xxl - could pay you when you get back. Purple or blue or red. Merci! Make that 2, for both of us. Love, L&S
