Casa 4B and dinner......!

November 13-14 Mexican kitchens are pretty basic - counter, a couple of shelves under that counter, fridge, stove, sink. I wanted to put dishes somewhere other than with the pots and cleaning products, so we went to the local building materials store and bought shelving. Miki installed it into the concrete by drilling, installing molleys and then metal brackets. It looks great and makes everything easier to find and nice to look at.
This next entry is decidedly NOT for the vegetarians reading this....! We went to Cancun the other day and were following a white pickup when I suddenly realized that what was in the box of the truck was at least a couple of freshly slaughtered pigs.....!!! Those are the hooves sticking out on the right. Good grief - we love Mexican pork, it is awesome, but it was a sunny 30 degree day and this stuff was just bouncing along in the back of the truck, probably headed for some restaurant in town. Yikes!
