Nov. 10/08 Yesterday we accepted the invitation of a friend of ours to see the timeshare complex El Cid in Puerto Morelos. It is also a marina and really a very luxurious resort. The main bar is lovely, with stained glass on the ceiling, huge pools, all kinds of activities and of course our lovely PM beach. We were pushed, prodded and enticed, but managed to say "no" one more time. Then we went to Playa del Carmen and found both a second hand store (finally!!!) another Telebodega type store, called Elektra, and one of many pottery shops, pictured here. You can get just about anything in this lovely pottery, including pots, lamp shades, sinks, toilets (yes, fully decorated complete toilets!!), dishes, nick nacks and animals. We did some pricing for living room end tables, bedroom side tables and went to both WalMart and Office Depot - the only place that had cork bulletin boards for photos.
